Safeway "Think Pink" Days

Once again Canada Safeway dedicated the month of October 2010 to Breast Cancer Awareness and Fundraising. Last October Safeway stores raised over 1.947 million dollars for breast cancer research and education programs.
ThinkPinkSafeways_5This year the campaign program included signage throughout the front of the store, participating products on the shelves and special coupon offers for Safeway customers who made a donation. These focus days have been designed to raise awareness of breast cancer and educate Safeway customers on 4 steps they can do to reduce their risk. It is very important that the Dragon Busters demonstrate to Safeway we have this kind of volunteer support for their fundraising efforts.
