Thunderstorms during the night and pouring rain first thing in the morning. It stopped before our first race and the waters were calm for the rest of the day.

For the finals we placed in the Diamond “A” Division and came home with a Silver Medal in the Breast Cancer Survivor Challenge Race.

3 of the Deep Cove teams placed in the top 12 of 40 Women’s Teams.

The theme was Party Like it’s 1999. We dressed up as “Purple Rain” with Prince.
