Concord Pacific Dragon Boat Regatta

Concord Pacific Dragon Boat Festival was held from June 20-22nd, 2025 and what a weekend it was! It kicked off Friday night with a Global Reunion themed-party to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of Abreast in a Boat! We donned pink wigs and rocked our Mrs. Roper ensembles. If you’re ever looking for attention on public transit…this is the outfit to wear.

An early and even earlier on-site time are not for the faint of heart but THIS crew…rallied and gathered with huge cups of coffee in hand ready to hit the water.

We paddled hard and made it into the “B” Division finals. We were on the water for the Flower Ceremony. 18 boats rafted together…a feat in itself. Although we didn’t come away with a medal, the comradery, sportsmanship and connection with the 33 other BC teams was so memorable. Looking forward to France in 2026! #PaddlesUP
