nsnLogoThe 21st annual Dundarave Festival of Lights kicked off Dec. 1 with the Dundarave Christmas Fair and Light-Up Ceremony. Those in attendance enjoyed live music, hot drinks and soup as more than 100 trees were festively decorated beachside. Proceeds from the event support the Lookout Emergency Aid Society’s North Shore shelter. A number of events are being presented at the site throughout December, including World Christmas, Saturday December 15 from noon to dusk, featuring a variety of ensembles ranging from the North Shore Celtic Ensemble to the Pacific Spirit Choir. A Christmas Wassail and Bonfire Night is being presented Dec. 22 from 2:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., again featuring a full lineup of entertainment and festivities. The trees will remain on display at Dundarave Beach until Jan. 5.
