Concord Pacific Dragon Boat Festival

It was a beautiful, sunny & hot one for the 1st day of the 2022 Concord Pacific Dragon Boat Festival. We had 2 great races; finished our first race of the day with a time of 2:28 (best of the season) and finished 4th overall out of 8 teams.

This year at the Festival, Day 2 saw 19 boats, representing 26+ teams from across Canada race in the Paddlers Abreast Canada (PAC) BCS (Breast Cancer Survivor) division.¬† We had 2 races today and made it into the “A” Final. We finished with a PB of 2:26 and placed 2nd out of the 19 teams.

Jane was the IBCPC Founding President and an original member of Abreast In A Boat, the world's first breast cancer survivor dragon boast team. She will be missed.
