Steveston Dragon Boat Festival
The weather (wind) did not want to cooperate this year for the Steveston regatta. After a 5 hour delay and the possibility of yet another delay before our next race, we decided to pack it in for the day and commiserate in the beer garden. Look how sad we look.
With the hot weather we had the week before, we were not prepared for the wind and colder temps. Some of us were a lot colder than others. A passerby noticed how cold Gloria looked and brought her back these 2 blankets. She just asked that Gloria return them to her house (just down the road) when she was done with them. There are good humans out there.
